Williams High School Orchestras

​Amber Kober is currently the orchestra director at Williams High School in Plano ISD.  This is her tenth year as a music educator. She graduated from Texas Christian University earning a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. She started her teaching career in 2015 in San Antonio at Wallace B. Jefferson Middle School as the assistant orchestra director and later became the orchestra director at Dr. John M. Folks Middle School in 2021. She accepted her current position as orchestra director at Williams High School in 2024. Mrs. Kober has had the privilege of working with countless students and has earned multiple superior and excellent UIL distinctions with her ensembles. 

For Amber, it is the constant improvement of her students, their beautiful sounds, and her love of teaching that has led her to choose to teach orchestra as her career. She is passionate about teaching her students and seeing their appreciation, skills, and love for music grow.
